LONDON, Ont. – Seth Griffith scored in overtime as the London Knights defeated the Owen Sound Attack 3-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Max Domi had a goal and two assists and Scott Harrington also scored for the Knights (18-4-1).

Daniel Catenacci scored both goals for the Attack (12-12-2).

Griffith notched the winner 1:15 into extra time by completing a give-and-go crossover with Domi, who now leads all rookies with 23 points.

Domi, who entered the day with just one assist in his past five games, netted the only goal of the opening period by cutting into the slot from the right wing boards and beating Attack goalie Scott Stajcer with a wrist shot to the glove side.

London now has wins in seven of its last nine starts.

Owen Sound lost on consecutive days to the Knights as they saw a four-game winning streak end in a 7-5 loss to London on Saturday.

Michael Houser made 36 saves for the win while Scott Stajcer turned away 46 shots in defeat.

London went 2-for-12 on the power play as Owen Sound went 1-for-6.

London’s next action is Friday with a visit by Barrie. The Attack are at Sudbury on Friday.
