Arizona Coyotes forward Max Domi has been suspended one game for instigating an altercation in the final five minutes of regulation time in his team’s 5-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks Thursday night.
With the Coyotes on the power play with just 2:30 remaining in the game, Arizona defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson was knocked down hard by Ducks forward Ryan Garbutt just inside the Anaheim blue line.
Domi took exception to the play, and chased Garbutt down, cross-checking him in the back before throwing punches.
