MONTREAL – Canadiens forward Max Domi is the Molson Cup recipient for the month of February. He earns the honor for the second time in his career (October 2018).

Domi was selected first star of the game twice (on February 3 against Edmonton and February 15 versus Columbus) and second star on two occasions (February 17 at Florida and February 26 at Detroit). He finished ahead of teammates Brendan Gallagher and Jonathan Drouin.

In 13 games in February, the 23-year old forward matched his most productive month offensively over the course of his career (after March 2018 and November 2018) with 15 points (6 goals, 9 assists). Domi led the team in points and differential (+9). On February 26 at Detroit, the Winnipeg native set career-highs with five points (2 goals, 3 assists) and a +5 differential.

Domi will be presented with the Molson Cup during a ceremony prior to Saturday’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Bell Centre.
